He has nearly 40 experience in the software industry, is a visiting scientist with the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania, USA). He is an internationally renowned speaker, instructor, consultant and process appraiser. Peter has worked in nearly every continent (still missing South America and Antarctica), and believes that any change for the better in an organization has to be deeply rooted in the culture of the country, the organization and the team. Peter is not only a certified lead appraiser and instructor in CMMI (services, development and acquisition), Peter does quality assurance and development work in improving and rewriting the various courses of the CMMI Institute, seeking to make them more learner centred and focused on real improvement of business objectives and away from respect of theories and principles.
