Nowadays society is not only passing the transition from the Information Age to the Conceptual Age of much deeper understanding of the world we build, but also the transition from automation to digitization, connectivity and deep interaction of technical systems and humans in industry. After a short introduction about Industry 4.0 and Innovation 4.0, this presentation discloses some case studies from the ecosystem of Cluj IT Cluster that enhance robotics with IoT, intelligence and connectivity to face the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution.
